Spring Midwest Forum Ride

Spring Midwest Forum Ride
Seeing that we have a few members around the St. Louis area, another in northern MO, and at least one in Chicago, anyone interested in doing a group ride around St. Louis this Winter? It will most likely be small, but there's some good trails around here that it would be fun to meet more riders in the area.
I've got a couple ideas. My friend has a farm with a bunkhouse in Augusta, near several trails in western St. Charles County. He could put all of us up if I pick out a good date for the ride. Or, we could ride some trails in St. Louis County like the Chubb or Greensfelder. I've got a bit of space to house out of towners.
I've also got quite a few friends here that would join. So, anyone interested? Blazinall, MX, Ranger, FreeRidin'.....?

Here's some pics of the main trail we'd probably do.

I would love to do it. Problem is that around that date I will probably just gotten back to Chicago after finals. A spring ride sounds good because I will still be in Rolla at that time.

MX is coming down this Sunday to check out the trails here. Blazinall, you want to join? We'll probably hit the Chubb and then either go over to Greensfelder or Klondike. Anyone else wanting to join is welcome. I think we'll be holding off until the Spring for the official Midwest Forum ride.

I was in st. louis for a ride once, did Klondike and Lost Valley, Klondike is unique but there really isn't that much there to ride. Lost Valley had a few neat parts but was a bit boring, once you get used to horse trails everything else seems easy.
If any of you go st. louis from the east it would be well worth your time to check out Southern Illinois, The trails around Carbondale are/were good, the trails in the southeast will make a man out of you.

hehehheeh
of course you're welcome. don't worry about skill...i suck at riding. my mechanical skills and now my bicycle knowledge from being here for 1.5 yrs is far superior to my actual riding ability

I have so much stuff going on in December it's not funny, plus I'm far from ideal shape for Chubb. my bike is going to be overhauled this winter (fork, wheels, odds and ends) but If you come to an exact date for winter I'll do my best to attend. That'd be awesome.. BUT HELLS YEAH for a spring ride, I am uber stoked about that.
