Which I realized, and responded in kind :}

I would've photoshopped a response, but that's too much work :P

That bike Ed has in the picture is the Moto slayer. If you feel like doing a search (I don't) you might be able to find the thread talking about how that bike ate a Motobecane on the trail.

Every time I get on mine, I look over my shoulder to see if Ed is lurking in the weeds, waiting for his next meal.

Yah...I need to photoshop me a picture of the Pointe with some "Death Race" upgrades.

FYI, shimano mechs are really heavy, so I'd start with that.

yes, in fact , i will use mavic sl v brake wheels, kcnc v brakes ( incredibly light), and maybe xtr crank set, though i am not sure on this one.

So far so good ! I'm waiting for the new wheels and for the snow to go away before I get in a 'real ride'.

But just dorking around on it in the 'hood' and it's a really really nice bike!

So whats going to happen to the domain? Is it going to turn in to one of those pay per click sites that you end up at when you forget that it is Konaworld and not Konacycles?

Edit: terrible joke.

Thats really quite good. Is it one of those new thru-release forks?

dminor 04-07-09 03:23 PM

Nice stonework. Better than a garage door.

Well, no. It looks like a TA hub, but the fork looks like a QR ;)
