First Post! There are some incredible bikes on here, anyway my name is Nick and I'm new to the forum/mountain biking. I just picked up a Trek 3900 today! Very happy on my purchase.

Bikes: A 2007 Trek 4300. 22.5", 1981 Trek 610 24" (61cm)
I bought this today.
Trek 4300, swapped out the seat for a Specialized BG Comfort Gel since the stock saddle wasn't to my liking. Excuse the stock pic, but my digi-cam is out of commision. Hopefully I'll be able to get some pics soon.

Yeah, it may not be light and it may stretch quite a bit but it's taken some damn hard hits and never complained. No damaged links, no stiff links, nothing.
Plus it's the only chain that fits in my ridiculously small drop-outs.

Bikes: Lots +1

- Geometry design by Matt Chester (based on my MC 26" SS). Dropbar specific, of course.
- Fabrication by Wade of Vulture Cycles. I added the braze-on seat lug/clamp.
- Part of the tube set from Steve Garro of Coconino Cycles. Two different Prestige tubesets & EBB shell.
- Powdercoat finish and vinyl decals by me (design and creation).
- EBB and derailleur hanger for versatility and because I could (not common 4 years ago).
- Zion 29er fork. I added cable guides to the left leg.
- Bontrager Race X Lite TLR 29er rims (28-hole), DT Swiss SuperComp/Comp spokes (2X/3X), alloy nipples, DT Swiss 240s front hub, Shimano XTR rear hub with DT Centerlock rotor adaptor, Shimano skewers. Pictured with Bonty Dry X 29x2.1 Tubeless Ready front tire and Hutchinson Python 29x2.1 Tubeless Ready rear (both pre-production).
- Profile Racing crank arms, 182mm, and 94/58 spider, FSA X-Drive Euro BB, 42/30 rings.
- Crank Bros. Eggbeater pedals.
- LX front derailleur (early '90s).
- XT medium cage rear derailleur
- XT 11-32 9-speed cassette.
- Ultegra STI levers
- On-One Midge off road dropbars
- Cinelli cork ribbon
- cheap-ass stem, powder coated to match (to be replaced by a custom steel stem)
- Avid BB7 Road disc brakes, Galfer Wavey rotors, 185mm/160mm.
- Cane Creek Solos headset
- IRD seat post
- Fizik saddle, custom color (ordered from their web site 4 years ago)
