Fork advice
I have a 98 GF HKEK with a Indy XC. Even with the preload as tight as it goes the shock is pretty spongy. I am thinking about a fork upgrade but don't want to spend a lot of money. Also consider I am a 50, 6'2" and weigh about 225. In general I ride fairly moderate rocky trails, not into pain and falling down, but I do bottom out the XC on occassion. I think the XC has 63mm of travel, but I don't know how much I can increase that without screwing something up. Say I have a $200 budget, what can I get and how big an improvement would it be? Are the Dart 3s a significant improvement over what I have now?
Thanks
Thanks

I bought a 98 GF Big Sur in 1998. I loved that bike. However, as soon as I got the bike, I sold the POS Indy XC and got a Judy XC to replace it. I think you'll be able to find plenty of good shocks for $200. I think any current Rock Shox would be a good replacement. I've been out of the game for a while, so I'll let some of these other guys chime in.
