I don't think anyone makes purple spokes.
Though, I could be wrong. Just never seen any.

This bike is going to be so sweet when it's done. It kind of reminds me of an old Team Fat Chance.

And so it begins.
The frame is finally complete, and the build begins. I only need to find me a 10mm spacer for the steerer, and I can really start getting down to business.
Here's the completed frame. I really like how the purple paint on the tubing matches the anodized components. I really am happy it matches as well as it does, or it definitely would look out of place. Thankfully, not. Of course, the whole bike kind of looks out of place.

^^^ I've seen those too. I think they're made by Ringle. I saw one recently on Ebay. I haven't seen too many around though, and I'm thinking I may prefer the regular type. Not quite sure yet. This week I'm just sitting thinking on it, and wondering what cages I really want.
Thanks for all the comments.

Besides, the Headset I have is the original Specialized. It was a little rusty on the outside, because it has metal cups. So, I sanded, then painted it. It has a nice coat of clear over it now, and looks shiny new.

To Patriot- get 'em. (edit: or those fat sheet aluminum cages would work, I don't really prefer either myself)
edit: Also, I don't think paint would stay on a chrome cage anyway, and anodizing looks better

I just bought a couple bottle cages. They are these kind. I wanted the ones with the black on the base to keep from scratching too much. Also, they hold the bottle better, and weigh a few grams less. I asked him for two purple ones. The green just doesn't work.
