My condolences to his friends and family. I hope the other side is a cyclist's dream.

Wow, that is terrible terrible news...
I haven't been here long enough to have gotten to know him, but I did read through his smoking thread, and when I saw this thread, I thought to myself, "Nooo way... couldn't be..."
As someone else said, it really does remind you how fleeting life is. My condolences to friends and family...

I can't believe this. My stomach is in knots over this. I was wondering why he never replied in his birthday thread.
Cream Soda, I'm not sure if you knew this but Al Wong posted quite a bit in Foo. I knew him as a crazy guy that would come up with these off the wall kind of threads. One of them was which name he should have! You should see the replies!
One time he replied to me and called me a guy. I always gave him crap for that. It was kind of an inside joke after a while.....I'm gonna miss him. I think we all will.
Please do us a favor and tell his family that he has a lot of people who really felt he was part of the Bike Forum family as well. That we all were affected in some way by his awesome personality. That we will miss him dearly.
((hugs)) to you, Cream Soda. And thank you for being strong enough to let us all know about this.

My heart's out to you OP. I understand your shock and grief. I've just been through it, and it's gonna hurt like hell. Come to BF for support. We're good at that. Please let us know what we can do. ((hugs))
I'm sure gonna miss that great guy. He was one of the first BF/Foo'ers who bantered with me at length during a "Foo-Party" when I first joined. I thought he was a pretty together guy for his age, with great dreams for his life....

We've lost too many BikeForums members this way. It's tragic and disturbing. Stay safe out there everyone. My condolences to his family and friends.
