Perhaps the lamest attempt at a "put down" ever posted here.

p.s. Who are you to tell anyone where and how to post?
Firstly, I’m a member of this forum, just like you (but not quite as rude), who was enjoying a conversation about clowning around on bikes, and witnessed you single-handedly destroy a good thread (again).

Secondly, I didn’t tell you "where and how to post", but commented on what you did, Maybe your not intelligent enough to recognize the difference, and maybe, just maybe, your misunderstanding of peoples post's causes these constant arguments You seem to find yourself in.

Or maybe it’s the fact that you’re an argumentative ignoramus.

To finish I'll just add that:

1 - Of all your post that I’ve read they are usually very similar in tone, structure and content, so basically they are all the same.

2 - You are the only member I’ve noticed who is constantly in conflict with multiple members.

3 - You have not posted one single piece of information about how you clown around, again showing that you don’t contribute constructively to any threads that you enter.

4 - I've come very close to discontinuing use of this site because every thread that I become interested in falls apart due to rude, aggressive know it alls such as yourself. And I’m sure I’m not the only member who feels the same way!

(But don’t get excited, I’m not going anywhere!)

He's pointed to his very first post in this thread at least 2 or 3 times. In it, he shows you precisely how he clowns around.

No "He" hasn't..I can't see anywhere in this thread where Pete refer's back to his first post, especially NOT 2 or 3 times.

His first post (of this thread) is still a negative post. And fails to contribute positively to the discussion.

Look at the hyperlink in his first thread. Take the time to read through the thread and you'll see he refers back to that post at least twice. Maybe he didn't write, "robbiemcgilla, please look at my first post in this thread to see a hyperlink showing a video of me clowning around" but he does refer back to that first post.

Pete, I bet you $5 you can't resist responding to this post using the "quote" feature. Really. I'll paypal you.

I thought it was common knowledge on the forum that Pete Fagerlin is not a real person.

He is a computer program.

Here is some history:

Before the Pete Fagerlin program responds to a post, it parses the archives and quickly analyzes the posting history of the poster to whom it is responding.

The Pete Fagerlin program then quite literally matches the poster's current comments to the poster's archived comments, flagging inconsistencies in logic. I oversimplify a bit here, it's all quite technical, I can show you the code if you like.

The Pete Fagerlin program, currently v. 1.0, is not capable of what we might call "pat on the back human emotion," therefore it does not respond in any way that would suggest this type of emotion, e.g. "nice bike!" "great picture! "thanks for the tip."

I have heard from my sources that v. 1.1 of the Pete Fagerlin program is capable of posting replies that are emotionally nuanced. However, in beta testing thus far, there are many bugs in the "emotional nuance" module and no release date is set.

When reading a response generated by the Pete Fagerlin program, please remember that you are dealing with a machine. This will help you to keep your cool and move on.

cheers

Maybe your really good at reading between the lines, but I cant see where he refers to his 1st post, instead he spends about thirty post bickering, and insulting people.

I dont see why you are getting envolved, I dont like argueing on forums and Im not going to get into another tit for tat disagreement, so we'll just agree that you wrong...ok!

You've proven that you have trouble with subtlety so I'm not surprised with your first comment.

I'm participating in a discussion forum hence my involvement.

I think I said this before; but, when presented with a smooth dirt or gravel road downhill (especially packed decomposed granite), I cannot resist getting up speed and pitching it sideways (not a skid - -no brakes) and doing flat-tracking slides. Particularly fun if you get the balance just right and can pick your inside foot back up on the pedal to finish it out.

So what's your favorite, or most-done, 'clowning around' thing that you do? Mine is probably popping off any pop-able undulation or rock in the trail.
