Where and when did you start riding???
I started when I was 11 years old I'm 38 now I got sponcered by SE when I was 16 it didnt last long due to the High Crime neiborhood I lived in and the inabuility to keep a bike safe during those years.. But then I started racing Cruiser class because I naturally got larger so I had to go somewhere I wasnt gonna stop riding. Mountain bikes started to get a liitle cooler but for a long time us Hard-Core BMX'ers at least the ones i kicked with would rather pump one gear than look like a dweeb granny crankin up a hill. Now that I'm alot older (And now Smarter!) I've fonud a love for mountain bikes, It still started with a Hard -Tail but now I have my Nomad and I'm gonna have some real fun now!!

At four years old I tackled my first bike, as I grew, so did my bikes until about 12 when the bmx bug hit. Got some Royce Union, I think, then my Hoffman ep and did flatland from about 14-17. The car kind of got me out of riding along with school. Got into mtb's about 2 years ago and here I am.

Bikes: Bike list is not a resume. Nobody cares.
Age 6 on a 24" coaster-brake single-speed; age 12 or so, 20" Columbia "Stingray;" age 13 - 24" unicycle; also age 13 - Suzuki 80cc. From there a series of dirt bikes/race bikes took over. Raced indoor short track, flat track, scrambles, rough-scrambles, motocross and desert cross country.
At about age 45, I bought a full suspension Mongoose at Costco (
) and took up mountain biking.

Got my first bike [red Supercycle] on my 6th birthday. No training wheels - my parents were core. First real off-road ride was when I was 13 on a Woolco 10-speed in the Weaslehead. It's been downhill [and uphill] ever since.

Whistler, age 27, 5 years ago. Whistler has a horrible gym which is beyond horrible (I was a power lifter and this is a "fitness" center") so I needed something to do.

Learned how to ride a bike at age 5, while vacationing in Madrid. Started racing BMX at 11 years old. Started working at a bike shop at 15 or 16. Got into road riding in college, and also mountain biking back in '91.
Just never quit riding.

I have no idea when I started but according to my folks it was before I started walking.
What I do remember, I went from a bigwheel to something called a "Cheetah" (a type of trike) to a Schwinn BMX at around 4 or 5. Rode BMX until I was 10 then added road biking as well. Stopped riding both at 17 while I was in the service. Got out of the service in '90, bought my first mtb, a Bianchi, in Phoenix,AZ and started racing XC and DH on it.
Oh yeah, and I started riding dirt bikes (desert) at age 10 and road racing at 21.

Hey, I had a Cheetah too! My parents have a film (no video back then) of me riding it in our driveway. I think I was 3 or 4 at the time!!!!
It broke when I rode it down the stairs of the neighbors backyard. Got a bloody nose as well.
I guess that's when my parents knew they were in trouble!!!!

Mt. Everest, age 7. Though, by the time I got to the top, I was 8. Then I rode down it. After that, I took off a few years. Recently, at age 86, I have begun riding again. This time, I'm keeping it more local.

K-2 is a little closer and only a few feet shorter than Everest, I hear the lift ticket's quite affordable also!

If you're suggesting this as a future endeavor, I appreciate it. However, at my advanced age, it's hard to ride with my oxygen tank. Not to mention that my joints get stiff in the cold.

Started riding bikes in 1970. Had a 1969 Peugeot PX-10, then a 1970 Colnago.
In 1972 I had a roommate named Gary Fisher. He had a collection of old-one speeds that we started using for town bikes. We started taking them off-road, and one thing led to a lot of others, and I became a mountain biker.
