Why? Is it an integral part of the suspension design?

If so, they should warranty it so don't bother with extra hangers.

With Wheeliemert on some awesome painkillers Gastro should make out like a bandit.

Unfortunately since I'm on muscle relaxers I don't think I could make a clean getaway.

I know he's got a pimpin' gold CCDB that would fit this, though...hmmm...he won't miss it for at least a month...

Nice . . . I know going rigid is the rage now, but that rear shock is not going to allow for much travel is it?

:D

I just watched Seasons. Wheeliemert gave me a copy last sunday. I think I reallly need to ride karate monkey.

What size is that Scythe? For reference, I ride a Medium. I also would have preferred the Red and White colour scheme as it reminds me of the Canadian flag. That being said, I won't be against trying your bike.

Canadian? I thought you were French. Anyway, you can't get the scythe in red/white, sorry.

The new piece is a Large, but significantly shorter, both TT and WB, than the SXT.

Dannihilator 06-19-08 09:49 PM

nice.

French? No, France is on the other side of the huge body of water just to the east of you. Okay, the bike may be a little large for me but I think I can manage.

It's beena rough season for the TGMBG so far. I'm still trying to get better from a crash a couple of weekes ago,Gastro has some busted up ribs,Wheeliemert done gone and broke him a collar bone,Never is out of comission. I'm thinking we should take up knitting.

You forgot Hammie's crash or is that just normal behaviour?

Actually been road riding and am going out for a night trail ride tonight in the mountains...yee-haw!

BFG 06-21-08 04:28 AM

I have now come to the conclusion the whole of the TGMBG are slow hacks who crash more than they pin.

mtnbiker66 06-21-08 04:33 AM

Sad but true.......

Dannihilator 06-21-08 07:16 PM

Well, I pretty much need a new rear wheel. The rear hub on the current wheel gave up the ghost today.

I had lost a pair of pedals and had gone crazy looking for them in my garage. I found them in an old backpack sitting in the back of my bedroom closet.

Oh yeah, I did that once.

Except it was a banana, and I knew it was in my bedroom. I couldn't be bothered looking hard for it, so I left it until it stank, and followed the smell.

My friend lost a pedal yesterday at Silver Mountain. We combed the brush on both sides of the trail for a couple hundred feet where he though it dropped (stripped crank-arm hole) and never did turn it up. Crank was a brand new Holzfeller Howitzer too. I thought those were supposed to have steel inserts but it looks to me like it is just aluminum at the pedal thread.

Just got a call from my doctor. His radiologist looked at my wrist x-rays last Friday and apparently it's not good. I have to go for more tests but if it's as bad as the radiologist thinks it is, I'm done for the year and will need surgery. That would mean no 24 Hours race, no Whistler trip, no TGMBG ride, and no other riding.

Here's hoping it's not that bad.
