I'm getting a pair of 250 Sidi road shoes for 50 bucks.
Hardly used, still clean and not smelly lol.

=)
I know they're road shoes but hey, they fit amazingly, and I can still use em, or sell em which ever.

Need to vent: I'm still sidelined after twisting up my knee ~2 weeks ago on the trail. I've been trying short rides here and there, but any kind of serious climbing and it starts to ache. I guess I'm stuck spinning my road bike on rollers indoors until it improves. The kicker? The wreck when I twisted it was my first time out on my new bike... and I have this whole week off from work in hopes of getting in a lot of riding.

And a huge weather shock, too.

Yeah the weather is going to be insane at first. I prefer colder wet weather than what we get here in TX. I have over the years really started to hate the heat here and the electric bill it creates.

Craig I'll take tons of pics when I get there and post em up for ya

LOL, Culture shock.
I went from 14 years in Alaska, to 3 years in Middle Southern Georgia.. Then to Germany.
I know how you'll feel.... Man, if you like colder/wet climates, Move here..... I have to almost give up riding in shorts. I'm looking into cold/wet weather riding gear now, I've ditched the jerseys for Cold gear underarmor.

BUT on the plus side...
I'm got some hardly used SIDI Carbon Road shoes (unsure of model) But origonal price was 250.00, for 50 bucks. They dont fit the old owner, but fit me perfectly.
They're road shoes, but still couldn't pass the deal.

I've been conned!! So at work I was the logistics manager and due to personal reasons I stepped down 6 months ago and moved into security. Well one of the guys I hired while in logistics injured himself and is unable to work, they came and talked to me and pretty much talked me into covering his position until I move. So now I work my 40hrs a week in security and put in almost 40hrs a week in logistics as well. Sure the paychecks are going to be insanely nice especially with the holidays and the move buuuutttt.... Selling all my furniture, truck parts, and junk along with packing has now become a serious chore, so much so I don't have time to meet the people from Craigslist making offers on my stuff. Guess I will have to call in "sick" here and there.

I like the looks of the update but threads this long kill me cuz I have to get in here then click "last" instead of just clicking it on the thread page. Time to go make a suggestion!

Bikes: cheapie Schwinn - ride what you got.

MD, just click on the time stamp next to where it says "last post". It'll take you right too it. It took me a while to figure that one out too.

Bikes: Bike list is not a resume. Nobody cares.

^^ I just had to find that one out yesterday from another mod. If this version is a supposed to be"improved," surely there's a way to add the "Last Page" link that previous versions had.

Believe me, there is a lot of rumbling about VBulletin 4, not just from the rank and file.

the last page button was one of the best things about the forum before the switch. Another was the drop down thing at the bottom that had all of the different forums for easy switching. Not really a big deal though.

Rode the HT with the All Mtn1 for the first time today. It sucked on the Enduro but it rawks on the HT. ETA takes it down to al little under 3 incher for climbing and gravel roads and when I get ready to decend, flip the switch and 6" fun HT. I wish I would have made change a long time ago. My Nixon feels better becuse of the rebuild from Sus.Ex. I'm also digging the new job that allows me to ride every morning.........I'm off to work now.

You arent lying! I feel like a walking zombie because I dont rest after work I am also packing and getting everything ready to move to Seattle. My next day off is actually Christmas and then the next one after that is the day I leave work which is the 15th of Jan. I feel like I have a day off if I only work an 8 hour shift anymore. Although all this overtime is going to be great when it comes time to move, 40 hours of OT a week is excellent!!

Its some kind of cosmic cruel joke. I always "initiate" my new stuff.
