Sounds like it's a good reason to get back to just enjoying your self on the trail! Hope the surgery isn't going to be too exstensive.

I think they just want to pin it so it shouldn't be too bad. It's a small, important bone so they don't want to take any chances with it.

And the trail riding has been awesome...all the training I did over the winter and spring has paid off because I haven't lost much fitness/speed. Just lacking a little confidence on the descents but I guess riding with a cast will do that to you.

I've been trying to convince gastro to come out to Bromont for a road trip but he's shunning me probably for the TGMBG. What I did learn from him was that in early August the World Cup will be coming to Bromont and I'll try to make it out for the 4X and DH finals on the Saturday.

Say, if the Masters Worlds ever come back to Mont-Sainte-Anne, I'm in! That's an event like no other.

Nice! The Quebec City region is really nice and I'd definitely make a weekend out of it and head out that way. I love that area.

Bikes: Bike Count: Rising.

Paddle boats can be a real sufferfest when you have to pedal the boat by yourself, let alone 3 miles of it. Right now I am about as sore as I was when I crashed in May.

It feels awesome to be sprinting down a hill and notice that you're pacing cars that are doing 60mph =]]

I would love to come spend some time out that way!!! I just don't see it in my near future.

Another photo from this past weekend... one that i thought was a little odd.

Hey D, I hope you dont mind, but on a certain local MTB forum there's a long running thread entitled "Beautiful bikes - post them here". I threw up this photo of your Blindside:

To a warming reception. Someone asked if it was a BOS fork .
