I think it's more the look of the bike of a poseur hack.

Pretty slick setup there.

Are you going to find time to hammer out some loops at Tsali?

Yeah,Hambone and I are leading a group ride there on Saturday. I'm not too excited about it, I think we're gonna try to run shuttles on Turkey Chute Friday evening.

I spent $140 at the bike shop last night

Oneal Full-finger gloves, RJay's [Aussie brand I believe] Helmet, Tri-flow Oil and some brake pads.

I know the guy at the bike shop because of my regular visits, and I'm doing work experience there in September, so he hooked me up with all the top quality things

I was organizing my Sunday morning ride with my buddy and he wanted to ride road. I kept pushing for mountain but it turns out he had lent his mountain bike to his father-in-law.

We ended up doing laps at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve (Montreal's Formula 1 track) for about 2 hours. The track is set up for cyclists and rollerbladers and since it is a racetrack that means there are no cross streets to deal so it was a nice steady ride. I would have preferred hitting the dirt but it was a nice easy way to spend Sunday morning chewing the fat with my buddy while riding along.

Goddamit.

I replaced my brake pads the other day, then gave my bike a good lube. Tri-flow on the chain, all the cables etc.

I put a few drops around where my crank goes in to the bottom bracket, and now it's making creaking and clunking noises..

The new commuter. Went for a little cruise around the neighborhood yesterday to find that it handles remarkably like a DH bike. It's resprung, regeared, and I'm getting ready to rejet the carb and some perform some other tweaks to get her running tip top.

Gastro should go with slicks for that supermoto look.

I just got in from a good ride on My rigid Iron Horse. It had a couple of good climbs and I can ride it from home. The Girlscout was on a .......ummm...road bike. I'm soooo ashamed.

It's all Hambones fault. He got me into Brazilian jiu juitsu and I'm trying to get into a little better shape.
