Bikes: Bike list is not a resume. Nobody cares.

^^ You can at least take comfort in the knowledge that we never mock you behind your back - - we always do it to your (e-)face .

I just posted up some high dollar, shinier pedals which I thought would be held in higher regard by the mocha latte set than some scratched up old mid grade units.

Rest assured I shall mock you again at a later date.

What do you guys think about this? Waffling on whether or not I should go check it out. I think I'd swap a few parts if I was to pick it up, and he didn't get any takers on Ebay recently so I think I could get the price down a bit.

Not bad. Coil-Air is a great long-travel trailbike.

What are you talking about? I've been a fan of Ringle hubs since the good old days when you had a mullet, a camaro, and a black sleeveless t-shirt. (last year) I've had some on my enduro since 05 or so. They're one of the best bang for the buck hubs out there imo. And LOUD to startle horses and hikers.

Coil Air is a real solid ride, especially with a DHX 5.0, which technically makes it a Coiler Dee Lux or something. I'd think about ditching brakes (nines are terrible), no-name shifter, back wheel (heavy threaded axle with weird offset I suspect) and take a close look at the condition of the crank/bb.

I did not have a mullet...I just had long hair! The 69 camaro and the black sleeveless concert shirts were a hit with all my girlfriends parents,as was my leather jacket.

^^ Yeah, I try to kid myself that I was cool too.

[When in fact, I realize I'm the same dork I always was - - just traded Suzuki t-shirts for Yeti ones ]

If you were balding in the front and your hair was long in the back, it still counts as a mullet.

Not that I'm one to throw stones in the balding house but what you might be talking about is a skullet.
