How long have you had the bike? Did you not get a free tuneup? Take the bike back to the shop you bought it from. They may just true it for free. If not start ranting and going nuts, that should help.

Bikes: A dozen or so.

Tell your LBS it's because you were running @ 65 psi.

How bent is it? Side to side, or up and down? Doesn't sound normal...at all.

Side to Side..
Its bent enough to run against the brakes and not roll smoothly.

PS> I lowered my PSI so IDK if that could be a problem, its at about 50-55 now I think

Mountain bikes are not made to handle mailboxes and curbs. What were you thinking?

Even at 65 psi, it shouldn't bent that easily...unless you weigh a lot more than you looked in the pictures...or it was a huge curb. The wheel must've been tensioned weirdly. Or did you check for a broken spoke...?

It was your normal 4-6 inch curb, Im only 165, and no broken spokes.
Thats why I'm wondering if my rim was faulty or not. I've never had a rim bend from a Curb.

My BMX rims were 5 years old, and I never had to get them trued.

Edit- I take that statement back, I replaced the rear one, The front one was original.

Shes like its not meant to go over curbs..
I'm like... noo... but roots, rocks and ditches etc on a trail is any better...

Sounds like either you had bad tensioning in your spokes, or a defective wheel. Either way, just tell your LBS what happened and they should replace it.

ah

I have worse luck.

I buy a 665 dollar fox rlc 08 and it leaks air.

Then my juicy 5 starts leaking fluid all over the pads.

And your rim is bent?

ha.

Bikes: 2011 SE Old Man Flyer.

MY Demo 9 is broken, along with my 888rc2.

Also, BMX rims have more spokes in a smaller rim, making them damn tough.

Yeah, sure.

Rider error, nothing more. The LBS has absolutely no obligation to replace his wheel.
