Bikes: Bike list is not a resume. Nobody cares.
Time to burst out in song . . .
"can we all just, get along now
we found something that we all have in common now
we can hold hands, do keg stands
water skiing sounds great to me now
Sail around the world and tell them all to keep singing it
la la la la la la
all we needs a harmony and we’ll convince the world to sing
la la la la la la
throw your arms around someone (throw your arms around someone)
maybe spread a little love
I know it sounds a little dumb (or maybe we’re a little drunk)
But all we need is some ice cream and a hug"

Someone mentioned qbike.com, so I'll mention BikeDex which provides similar services for free, but only uses retailers we've had positive buying experiences with on a personal level. Less ads, too

i really feel 90% of you are missing the point that i asked for 'good mtb sites' not 'mtb sites' this was in an effort to filter out the google **** links to boil it down to the possibly more obscure sites google doesn't readily turn up.
thanks to those for the links posted thus far. they've been really helpful

If you go to MinorThreat Racing and click on that old fart's Mountain Biking Links and scroll down to the Super Stores category, you will find links to most of the high-volume, major onlines there.

^^ Too true; there's a guy that walks his dog that way in a local sports complex parking lot who I see on the way to work every now and then.

I would argue that "good" is subjective and way too unspecific. By "good" do you mean it has a lot of XC gear or downhill gear? Maybe you mean it has a wide selection of gear in general. Or, maybe you mean that it provides great discounts. Or, maybe you are looking for excellent customer service? Possibly you want free shipping. Without a clear definition of what you feel is "good", it is very hard for the 90% of us who are "missing the point" to steer you in the right direction. In my opinion, Google is a "good" place to start as it will give you a number of responses. Maybe had you taken my advice and come back with a list of sites, the 90% would have helped you sort through and given you some feedback on positive and negative experiences. Instead, you chose to be an assh0le. In return, you've gotten assh0le comments. Big surprise? I don't think so.
