Bikes: better ones than yours

How do you pee?

When you guys are racing XC and you really have to go?

Last race i was in, i just pissed on myself and kept riding because i was in the lead and didnt want to lose it. Problem is, i smelt badly of urine afterward. What do you guys do?

Bikes: Rigid MTB with mix of LX&XT

LOL
When I am out on my bike I drink my Camelbak dry within two hours and then have to pee what feels like every ten minutes after that. I have never done a race but could imagine having to stop a lot during one.
As well as the smell would the bike not corrode with the pee?

Ive heard people say they actually position themselves so they pee off to the side. I would imagine it would be a hilarious view from the rear.

personally, and this is just me, i'd wait until the race was over and then piss all over myself. Honestly though, just set your mind on something other than having to piss and you'll be fine. Mind over Matter

If I really can't hold it, I think I would just pull off the trail when I'm not really close to anyone in the lead. I would take the oppurtunity to pass them that time.

If you Don't want to be embarrassed after the race with your wet shorts, Just take the cap off your bottle, to have a good Swig, but accidentally spill it all over your front, If your drink also contains a Blackcurrant additive, it also disguises the "Smell" of urine.

Incidentally if your urine smells that much, you ain't drinking enough and are dehydrated. Either that or you don't have young kids and haven't got used to the smell.

My Camelbak came with an attachment which allows me to return the urine directly from my bladder to it's bladder for recycling. It's the ultimate in cycling efficiency.

Sometimes I like to whip it over my shoulder and urinate on the competition as well. It's the ultimate in crushing defeat.
