I was curious as I was looking at my stable of bikes in the garage the other night. What was my favorite thing for my bikes I bought last year? Hmmm tough decision.

I was going to say my Heart Rate Monitor, because it's been the most useful for my training, but definately not my favorite.

My New LeMond Road bike, but that is really another category all together.

My new mini-tool, Nah, too practical and it's a back-up for my new road bike anyways. It's pretty standard and not all too exiting.

Recently, my headband/ear warmer ranks up there due to the cold morning rides, but not my favorite for the year.

Probably my little Specialized "Peace on Dirt" bell for my mountain bike. It's a silly little bell, and I really don't know why I like it so. I guess it's just when I saw it, I had to buy it, no second guessing, just bought it!

Of all the things I bought, a stupid little bell is my favorite. Makes you wonder where my head is sometimes!

What's your favorite (Accessory - Not New Bike)?

Mine is definitely the infrared remote changer that allows me to change channels on my satellite system from other rooms. This allowed me to set up a TV (in the basement) off of our the satellite system in our family room and gave me the capability to surf the channels while riding my bike on the trainer. A truly wonderful gift!

I would say it is a toss up between the Marzocchi JrT and the Stratos Helix Pro. You just cant beat well made/tuned coil sprung susp..

I would have to say ...Hmm I got lots of stuff, but I think my "fave", is my Giro "HAVOC" .. It's light, looks freekin' cool, is freekin' cool .. runner up is my latest wheelset, Shimano M-575 16 spoke wheels, look like the beez neez, and so far (900 km's) I have not even needed to true them ! and they have been subjected to every kind of terrain and some big hits, which afterward I thought to myself "I'll just stop and take a look at the trueness of these suckers" sure enough.. no wobbles !!

If it was allowed I'd choose the new bike (and my first bike in over twenty years ) but as it's not I'll go for the cheap sigma computer I bought with the bike, purely because I can look at the miles and experience building up

One thing I bought that I regretted for the first few miles but am now very happy with is my new saddle, a Selle Italia Nitrox, I picked up for under a fiver. It's as thin as anything, and felt as hard as a rock for the first 50 miles or so but either the saddle has softened or my bum has adjusted, and am finding it far better than the old padded stock saddle.

My fave ordered in '01 item would be my Nokia Mount & Ground 144 tires. Absolutely great for winter commuting. My favorite actually gotten in '01 item would be the $30 Specialized winter boots I got from Sierratradingpost. No mesh, ankle high, room for extra socks, they are great for cold days, without giving up my SPD's.

would you believe the almighty cleaning brush, and degreaser it's amazing the diffrence it makes. halogen night lite for the nightrides a friend and I were getting tired of duct taping little lights to our heads. Night rides, a whole new world to explore.

Of course their are also the parts that didn't do what you hoped they would do....

My Cussi Elite bottle cage, as used by Jan Ullrich, holds my bottle perfectly well but hasn't turned me into a potential TdF winner

Not sure about foavorite, but I sure know what my LEAST favorite item is (or shall I say was...). My FSA bottom bracket. Not only did the cart. bearing develop a a flat spot within less than 100 miles, but they mis-labeled the "right" and "left" sides so I accidentaly stripped out the drive side of my brand new frame.
FSA SUX.

gotta be the handlebar mount for the GPS unit - makes riding deep into the back country a lot easier........

Steppenwolfs are built in Bavaria and the Tundra is mainly for XC and marathon racing. Some are not too keen on the overly sloping top-tube, but compared to my previous MTB it handles better. My friend has had his Tundra for a few years and even came 6th in a downhill event with just 80mm of front travel! Not bad for a hardtail.

A large number of riders use Steppenwolfs as they are about as light as a Rocky Mountain or Rotwild and can take a fair amount of abuse as well, though I've only had mine one season so its still early days yet.

I think what Stumpjumper was trying to say was that your picture isn't showing up (at least on my monitor as well!)
