I rode BMX for years and if you are used to riding a 20" bike, the position will be similar. Actually it'll be closer to riding a 24" cruiser.

I had a 2000 P.3, and I used to call it my BMX bike on Steroids. I used to ride it on XC trails all the time!

awesome. you just brightened up my day er whats left of it ::looks at clock:: . does the geometry feel alright on single track? (the p series i mean) i know you said you had a 00' but the geometry hasnt changed much... if it even has. and who sits down when they ride??? i know i never do even if im on my friends Giant mtb. o well. thanks for the imput.

Sure the geometry is pretty slack, but if you're an old BMXer, you'll quickly adjust and it'll suit your agressive style more once you get airborne. I'd definitely go for a P.2 or similar bike. I do like Kona's, but there are so many available these days.

yeah i know everyone has some type of urban/jump bike now a days. Giant just released the STP series but from what i hear theyre a little pricey. I think specialized still has the best bang for the buck. But its ok cuz once i get out of college and a real job and actually have money to spend im gettin a 24 bicycles Le Toy haha.

Yeah right! You'll have money if you move back home and live with M & D!

You NEVER have enough money, you just spend more on stuff you don't realize. At the end of the month, I had more money when I was in college than I do now!
