A question about mountain bikes

I have a job that is in the neighborhood next to mine so to get there I have to cross some pretty rocky terrain with big branches, holes, and other crap and my bike isn't suited for stuff like that. Can anyone recommend a good mountain bike or brand that sells mountain bikes for a good price?

Look on craigslist, for something older and cheap. Trek, Gary Fisher, GT, Giant, Scott, Marin, Cannondale, Specialized just to name a few. Really depends on what you want to spend. If your just going to ride it to work and back, and its no more than a mile or two away. "I cant believe I am going to say this! Go pick up a cheap Wally World POS." But for real, you can find older pro brand bikes like Trek with out front suspensions for 100 bucks or so.
