A bunch of old, a bit of new.
The old: Everything other than what is stated below
The New: Frame, Headset.
So far, all I've had time for has been a ride yesterday (probably 8-10 miles of road with a bit of hucking) and today I played around for around an hour on the BMX track. My first impression is that the quality over all is fairly high on the frame, though the paint is a bit sloppy. The way it handles is quite amazing IMO. Stuff that I had a hard time clearing was suddenly easy. Mid-air handling is fairly confidence inspiring, and the small tricks that I could do on the old C'dale are suddenly easy (whips/bar turns). I was able to clear everything just as well, if not better than 8 or so BMXers there. Not had a chance to go to any true trails or good urban spots, but I did do a 3-3.5 foot drop to flat and the frame felt fine. Finally, there is the issue of manualing. On the old frame, I could maybe manual a parking spot (across the narrow way) on one wheel at 15mph. Now I can clear that same spot manualing at around 5 mph. I can also hold the bike on the rear wheel (without bouncing or pedaling) for a few seconds. Overall it just feels way snappier, yet somehow more stable. With the seat all the way up, it feels like I'm about the same distance from the handle bars as on my old bike due to how slack the seat tube is. In the saddle climbing might not be so hot, but it still climbs well, and now I can wheelie at any speed just by pulling up slightly and pedaling
I'm very impressed for the money.
Edit: No, I'm not that dumb or blind. I do realize that the neon zip ties look really bad. They were what I had within a 10 foot walk of where I was building up the bike. I'm gong to switch to black here eventually.

Thanks, I'll look into that. I was thinking about drilling out one side of the routing so that I could get the housing through, but then I decide that would probably void the warranty.

All hail the compact hardtail frame. I got one for several hundreds of dollars and it works almost as goodly as my friend's 100 dollar sette shadow which it to say very very.
On shadow I guess one could ask for a smidge more tire and maybe a half degree more slack but other than that we should all be riding the things.

TwinCam, I would agree with the slightly slacker thing, that would be nice, but I love the way the seat tube angle is right now. And as for the tire clearance, lets just say I've got a solid 2mm between the tire and the FD.

believe it or not that fork is a noodle. and believe or not that bike is actually pretty nice to ride.
there's ongoing debate as to how safe it is to do what kind of riding on it. it started off as kind of an off road chopper. the fork was to too *****in to leave rotting on craigslist. and then there was the shadow frame sitting around doing bugger all. so it all went together with spare parts and we had a laugh riding it to starbucks and whatnot. but later on one riding buddy took a liking to it and started bringing it out to the trail to make things interesting. fell in love with it and swears to ride it until to fork caves in. got bally and entered it on a dh race.... held up pretty good. and now the brave soul is doing cinderella runs on the ******* and it seems to do just fine. the fork wil start making horrible creaks and just when it looks like the thing has had it he'll tear it down and pack it with another half pound of marine grease and its good as new again.
it will be a sobering day when that hanebrink comes off and we have to put a normal fork on fuxor. in fact, the plan is to remove the gold lettering becasue it just wont be fuxor anymore.
