Looks flexy? Does it come in rootbeer?
|
 I think if I install a couple moar shimz, the flex will go away . . . .
|
Can it fit 26x3.0 Gazzalodi's?
I also see it has the most advanced, toughest wheelset available, at least for the rear wheel.* *Truth being, mavic has never made that wheel correctly. |

33.5# with the Nevegal DH in back. An extra pound over the regular DTC version, but nice for those "unsmooth" moments. Burly, short, low, slack, supah' fun. |

Can't get her to hop up on the 34t:lol: Guess the 1892 Sora wasn't designed for 9spd MTB's:lol: http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h2...e/DSC05237.jpg I miss my XT already. http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h2...e/DSC05223.jpg |
I feel for you. Was it rigid before?
|

New brakes on both bikes.
The HT got SLX brakes, and the NRS got 486 brakes and a 185 front rotor. http://www.ihasaids.com/upload/data/1264984770.jpg http://www.ihasaids.com/upload/data/1265003517.jpg http://www.ihasaids.com/upload/data/1264932347.jpg http://www.ihasaids.com/upload/data/1265011850.jpg |
Trek 850.. mostly stock that i know of except the changes i've done.
http://c2.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...6021a21da1.jpg New changes Deore lx rear deraileur http://c3.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...84757cecca.jpg 2.4 tires (OLD: 2.1) http://c4.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...f18b5deee7.jpg http://c2.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...5dd8cc1f69.jpg http://c4.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...069d5f0f67.jpg Also put in a new sealed bottom bracket and a truvative blaze 3 piece crank. I'm running a double front since i never use third and it always seemed to catch when climbing over stuff. I run 22/32 chain rings and i've got an 11-32 cassette. Thinking about going to eight speed casssette and running 11-34 and putting on a deore hydraulic disk back i have on the rear |
Now at 32#2oz. and a new MinionDHF rear set up tubeless.
http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f1...s/IMG_7282.jpg Why the hell didn't I do ghetto tubeless before??? Spent the last two days trying to burp and pop things, with no luck. Stuff that would for sure have pinched my tubed setup. Me likey. Still love, love, love! the bike! |
So it's not an MTB, but it is the latest addition to my garage...

^^ Thank you for not saying 'stable.' A good addition; I see a cruiser-class rig in my future.

@robot
Front QR is on the wrong side. Just sayin. |
i'm guessing that you don't have alot of experience with hydro brakes, huh?
rotors get hot. really hot. you don't wanna touch one when you're taking a wheel off for whatever reason. also, almost cut the tip of my finger off on a rotor when it was gently spinning and i was removing a rear wheel. you might wanna tell fuzzy that he runs his qr's on the wrong side, too. http://www.bikerumor.com/wp-content/...zy-newbike.jpg http://www.mbaction.com/Media/News/MBAFuzzyRiding1.jpg |
fight fight fight
|
nah...not a fight.
just another guy trying to be a smartass when he has no idea what he's talking about. no biggie. "just sayin" |
