Been on vacation from here for a while due to an insane work schedule and a few life changes. I got big into MTBing about 8 months ago and broke my cheapo Huffy and picked up an 09 Fisher Advance on the close outs

Well I got to where I was riding beyond its capabilities and was bottoming the fork out constantly on drops (I weight 180lbs) So I got to browsing my LBS for a fork upgrade and possibly moving to new wheels and disc brakes at the same time. Well while browsing I saw an 08 Specialized Pitch Comp sitting in the corner. I started talking the guy I got my Fisher from and he said it was brand new and been on hold in their warehouse for almost a year and they forgot about it. I asked him what they would want for it and needless to say I walked out with it for a steal!! He even threw in a shock pump for me to sweeten the deal.

After my shake down run

Took me a few stops and starts on the trail and a lot of riding the same line over and over again to figure out my rear shock pressure and get the rebound dialed in. The thing rides like an absolute dream and actually climbs really well! Only thing done so far is some Azonic pedals and I ordered a bash and blackspire chain guide to turn it into a dualie since I never use the large chain ring. I see no reason to change anything else on it until something breaks. I got a better deal on this bike than the cost of new wheels, mechanical disc brakes, and a Tora fork.
