Since it was said to be not only acceptable, but encouraged...

Soon to be a mini motard racer...would've gotten something a little nicer, but XR/CRF100's have the most racing classes down here. DRZ had to go to make room...sad day...but the streets are dangerous because people are stupid, myself included.

My latest on its first proper run today. Still sorting out some teething problems, but overall it's coming along pretty well.

Next up is a better QR system. The brand-new XT skewers can't handle the force the front brake generates, causing the left to move down and making the front disc rub the outer brake pad.
A set of TranzX skewers should sort that out because I can put much more clamping force on those. I have a spare set in chrome, but I think the bike prefers black.

Once that's sorted, I'll just need to shorten the brake hoses and work out a way to mount front lights.

hmm... that's odd that the XT skewers doesn't keep the axle square on the fork during braking. If I encounter that issue I switch to XT skewers not the other way around.

My first bike since 1999 Walmart Next girls 26 inch mountain bike, which I have repainted I can handle the girls part, but not the pink and purple decals. I'm trying to get back in shape I know round is a shape, but not very healthy. At 60 I may be a little late starting this, but I need the exersize. all your bikes look great. Also built a trailer for camping

The one and only Steve Potts. He's amazing with titanium and I really like his IS disc mount as it spreads the braking force load across the seat stay and not just at the drop out.

just finished, building this, can't wait to take it out

U.V. I really like how the cables can hardly be seen. Nice and simple.

Looks like a single gear up front, is the front derailer there just to keep the chain on?
