MTB Brakes

Just replaced the pads on my linear pull brakes. Forget what brand. Anyway, the trails have been wet and snowy. After two rides, the pads are just about worn down again.

Can anyone recommend a brand that has a harder compound that will last longer in wet, snowy New England conditions?

Thanks

I think Kool-Stop has a hard compound. You might want to look into some disk brakes, they really trump V brakes for wear in the slop.

Avid BB7s are the best bang for the buck.
