NOLA streets are pretty terrible as a general rule so if you're just tooling around the city, keep that in mind before you hop on your nice carbon rig. If you're not from LA, check out
https://www.lambra.org/
for some mountain biking info.
Either way, NOLA in the spring is nice time to visit and it's not hard to eat well and enjoy yourself.

Forgive me, got my "ambra"'s mixed up. LAMBRA is for local racing,
https://www.bramba.org/
is more mountain biking centric. It's based in Baton Rouge, but you should be able to find some NOLA area info as well.
