Questionable Specialized on Craigslist - What do you think?
So I found this bike on Craigslist for $175 which I think is a good price and I was planning on picking it up tomorrow but can anyone tell me what year it is? According to the guy, he said the only thing with it is that the back tire is a little worn but other than that, it's in good mechanical condition.
Can anyone tell me anything about it? Any of you Hardrock users see anything funny on it like a different bike with Specialized stickers on it?
What do you recommend I do?

Bikes: Bike list is not a resume. Nobody cares.
Yeah, the early-2000s don't resemble the newer or older Hardrocks much. The '03 was even burlier at the junction of the headtube. I think Specialized got tired of groms beating the crap out of them dirt jumping, trying to keep up with their buddies on their Kona Scabs and Shreds; so they made 'em extra-stout for a while. Wouldn't mind finding an '03 frame cheap - - would probably make an OK temporary DJ/MTX/BMXer
