Thinking of purchasing a bike
First off, I apologize if I have posted this in the wrong forum.
I have done a little research and I've decided that a mountain bike is the bike for me. I've spent some time at my local bike store discussing my plans with the owner and he recommended a bike in my price range.
It's a 2011 Fuji Nevada 3.0. I read that it's a good entry level bike which is all that I need. The bike looks nice and rides nice, but I'm not 100% sure about the asking price.
He's asking $399.99 for it on sale from $499.99, and included with that is a 1 year service and parts guarantee. I want to make sure this is a good deal before I go forward with this investment.

MSRP is $549, so price wise, it's a good deal.
does it fit you? did you ride it around? are you comfortable on it? that is what matters. if you are comfortable on it and you like it, then yeah, it's a good deal, go for it.

To the next three questions, yes I did. The bike is more comfortable than I expected. And like I said, if any part is broken/damaged/stolen within that first year, he'll replace it for free. He even offered to give me my choice of saddle.
