05 Specialized

Does any one out there have or have ridden a 05 Specialized FSRxc, in particular the Pro model. If so will you please share a review with us? Thanks.

Bikes: Lots

Nope, not yet. Not my style of bike, but I'm sure eventually I'll throw a leg over one. I'm constantly striking up conversations with other riders at the parking areas.

Its a lot of bike for the money... I haven't really seen much of the '05s yet but the XC's last year were a bit porky. I think we got a Pro last year and it was about 32lbs. I wouldn't rule out a Stumpjumper if you are going to be spending the big bucks.

Oh one more question: Do you guys think that the FSRxc would be raceable? Particularly at Sport Level local and state races?

Michigan... and for XC racing at the Sport level, if you are a big guy it should be ok otherwise I would look for something a bit lighter with less travel.

Bikes: Are faster than yours.

I just got the 05 Epic Comp with the Avid Juicy brakes - I know not what your asking about - but it is a hell of a ride. The bike is more FS than HT this year, but pedals great. i almost can't distinguish the switch.
