2010 Specialized Epic Comp on CL

Considering grabbing a mountain bike to offset road cycling. I just bike for fun, but enjoy pushing myself as well. In a mountain bike i'm looking for something "all mountain" I guess. Possibly progress to some harder stuff, maybe single track. Bit of climbing, flat trails, hills, etc.
I had a hardtail Cannondale F5. I'd prefer a full suspension bike. $1k is the max i'd want to pay.
Should I grab it if his price is firm? It is the grey/white combo, but looks blueish in the photo.

It's a great deal. Looks like it even has the brain in the back. Just a heads up epic is made for XC so it only has 100mm suspension travel. Specialized says this bike is build 60% for climbing and 40% for descending. It'll probably handle almost anything you can throw at it but once you become a better rider that 100mm travel might not be enough. But until then it'll be a great bike to ride.
