How much do you weigh, can you're bike handle a DC fork, how big are the jumps/drops, what bike do you ride? And most importantly, how much are you willing to spend

Personally I like the marzocchi line of forks the best. However, I have been hearing some great things about RS new line of forks.

Sorry I can't help more. But those q's I posted above are somethings that the more experienced members will probably ask about.

Well how big of a drop are you looking at here? You might look into the RockShox Pike

9 foot drops? Damn. You got balls kid.

Fox Vanilla or Marzocchi Z-1 Freeride come to mind. If you're doing 9 foot drops, I definitely would try to spend as much as possible as another broken fork might cost you a lot more then a new fork.

5 to 9 isn't a big deal. Go hit some 6's and then move to 7's etc...really 10 ft and under is a mind ****, there really isn't much danger factor or g-forces involved. (no I don't go that big but I can see it...I know it...I just gotta get past the mind **** aspect of it.

How big does good ol Maely go?

EH?

42 feet? eh? lol

You should all be in awe at my 2 feet drops and the skill at which my pedals slip intentionally throwing me forward into my frame effectively hitting my crotch with quite the amount of force causing the second part of this immensely difficult trick known as the "passing out phase" where the rider intentionalyl blacks out.

Really I don't know why you guys even bother riding when you know the bar is set so high.

lol

I like my new Z150 ('Zocchi), but haven't owned it long enough yet to comment on its durability.

Well I was trying to be encouraging actually. Give you the positives of 9ft drops. But like I said, this isn't a physical restriction. I KNOW I won't get hurt, its all in my head and my fear of heights.

As for how big I do...7ft has been my max measured. I don't drop to flat and I don't huck for ****s and giggles...if its on a trail I ride it...if it isn't I don't. I intend to break 10ft this year which really shouldn't be an issue and would be even easier if I wasn't afraid of heights.

I work up in the air so after you spend the day anywhere from 10 to 60ft up a drop is no big deal.Having said that I only go about 6ft. The higher you go the more you spend fixing things and I'm kinda cheap. If your going 9ft peewee a dual crown may be your best bet.
