Yep. The weather has been easy this winter.
Plus, I added a mountain bike to my garage and if it snows less than a foot it comes out. Snow riding is a blast.

Hmmm good question Who wants to set up our first ride. I would suggest this weekend, but I'm sick still. Probably no riding for me til next weekend.

I stink at setting things up. As Bill knows I tend to pick a direction and ride towards it.

We could set a tentative date for Sunday??? Just don't want to back out on you guys if I'm not feeling 100% though.

I don't have a sitter on Sundays and can never find one. Hopefully that will change for Sunday events this coming up season. *crosses fingers*

Saturday my wife is off so I ride that day. Sundays are filled riding with my son or other father\son activities.
That and my kid likes to stop every mile to examine something. 3 hrs to go 5 miles usually. lol

I say get well first. I am pretty much riding every Saturday.

Then again maybe I should hunt for someone to watch my son for a few hours.
Riding with snowy is always fun.

Maybe we should plan the following week? Saturdays are good for me. I just have plans to snowboard on Saturday this week.

I have improved a tad. For my century last Saturday I made a nice queue sheet and followed it the first half.
The return trip I decided Hover St through longmont stunk and then improvised most of the remaining miles.
Of course I was short 5 miles at the end and had to ride around thornton to add mileage. d'oh!

Sorry, can't make it, I'm flying to Tucson, for a week of 75* riding.

I may join you guys!! It just depends if I want to ride road or dirt. I really miss riding my mtb bike so we will see And oh feeling MUCH MUCH better.

If we are riding on Saturday I will be on my fixed gear. My tarmac is getting a tune up. I can flip it to SS if we are climbing something fun for the downhills.
I wonder if I can climb lookout on a 42\16 gear? hmmm

I could grab my mountain bike if we wanted to ride something like an easy singletrack. I am a wee bit pathetic at actual mountain biking.

October 8, 2007 - The Mount Evans Road is Closed for the Season!!!

The Mount Evans Scenic Byway (road) was closed today for the 2008 season. The road will open on Friday, May 23, 2008. It may open earlier weather permitting.

I am unsure if anyone is interested but I figure why not post just in case.

I am riding my March century this coming up Saturday. Anyone is welcome to join me.

So far it looks something like this (I am willing to change it as needed):
1) Leave my house at 115th and CO blvd. Head west to Wadsworth.
2) Take 120th from Wads west to 93.
3) 93 south into golden to ford st.
4) Go up lookout and down colfax.
5) Leave golden via 93 back to 120th.
6) Ride north on mccaslin through superior to cheryvale.
7) Head north on cherryvale to baseline in Boulder.
8) Take baseline and follow it as it turns into 168th \ highway 7.
9) Head south on york to finish back up at the starting location.

Like I said, I can change where I start or the route if anyone wants to join poor little old lonely me.

Club Hypoxia Woeful Wednesdays (hill repeats)

We'll meet at the Bear Creek Trail Head in Wadsworth Park just south of W. Yale on Estes.
We will depart promptly at 6:45PM riding to Fox Hollow, then do repeats over & back on Mount Carbon.
