Somehow, this bridge had eluded me. I will ride in Riverdale/Fieldston for the hills, but always end up back down on Broadway to cross back into Manhattan. Today before I left I checked on Google maps and with streetview was able to identify the tiny staircase that leads to the bridge from the Bronx side, and on the Manhattan side I saw where the trail originates north of Dyckman Street. It involves stairs to cross over the Amtrak tracks and an up and down trail to the bridge. The bridge path itself is barely wide enough for a bike. I saw a handful of people on it, kind of what I expected since it is so hard to find unless you live there.

There are signs that say to walk bikes but i've never heard of it being enforced
