Good MTBing trails in Middlesex County, NJ?

Does anyone know good mountain bike trails in Middlesex County, NJ? Preferably close to the New Brunswick/Edison area...

Mercer County Park near West Windsor has alot of good trails, the Sourlands Mountain Preserve in Hillsboro is alot of fun & a little more challenging.

I realize that might not be 'local' enough to New Brunswick unless you'll be driving in...But there's always the D&R canal at the end of town toward Franklin if you don't mind flat and straight.

I have considered the canal... It does seem boring, but it's a good way to get to Princeton with my bike, if I don't want to take the train.

The canal can be a heart-stoppingly beautiful place to ride to your hearts content for many many miles without stopping, don't get me wrong. Its just not "technical" the way a proper mountain bike course is.

From Princeton/Princeton Junction, Mercer County Park is less than ten miles away, if you ever do end up taking the train.

I'm over in Plainsboro. If you ever see a grey trek hybrid with a big red sticker on the stempost racing the crew boats from the canal trail, say hi.
