CNY: The Ride for Missing Children

For all you cyclist in CNY you should check out this event. It is for a great cause. The ride this year is Friday, May 18th 2012. It is a century but it has many stops and plenty of training rides to get ready. The website is: the ride for missing children dot com with no spaces or you can google the title of this thread. If you are interested you will need to hurry because the registration period has started and the spaces fill quickly.

If you are on the eastern side of the state, look at the Capital District Ride for Missing Children. It is Sept 2012.

It starts in Albany to Schnectady, Scotia, Ballston Spa, Saratoga Springs, Malta, Mecahnicville, to Brunswick and back to Albany.

Its a great casue and a great ride.

So am I, in G.

I was assigned to it last year, not by choice. Turned out to be a great thing. It motivated me. I picked up a new road bike and started spinning again. I'm looking to ride it this year. I was going to do the CNY ride, but didn't think I'd be ready. I think I was was wrong as I have been riding all winter (so far).

Good Luck and have fun.
