Clif Bar supporting the Vine Trail

Napa Valley vineyard owners have a chance to help build the Napa Valley Vine Trail, with the Clif Family Foundation making their donations count for even more.
The foundation challenges vineyard owners to join in the $50 Per Acre Campaign by pledging to donate $50 per commercially producing vineyard acre annually for five years. It will match up to $2.5 million.
Funding will help construct the Vine Trail’s 11-mile missing link from Yountville to St. Helena. Once this gap is filled, the bicycle-and-foot pathway will stretch 31 continuous miles from Napa to Calistoga.
“The Vine Trail is an exciting opportunity to ensure everyone in Napa Valley can enjoy and have access to the outdoors,” said Kit Crawford, a co-founder of Clif Family Foundation, in a news release. “It’s a dream come true.”
The campaign’s goal is to raise $5 million or 25% of the estimated construction costs
