That looks like a great ride - there are some bypasses which I have never taken - like Malcom Dixon Dr to bypass that busy stretch of Green Valley, and the Horseshoe Bar/Val Verde to bypass Auburn-Folsom - I have never enjoyed riding on Auburn-Folsom, ever - the most unpleasant drivers in the whole area.

Unfortunately, no. Why not just come back to my house? Be about 30 minutes early to gear up. PM me if you need the address again.

He Joel-

I've been on the fence with this ride and I've juggled enough stuff to make it happen. It will be nice to put some faces to names. Can I meet you at the Hatchery? If so, what is a good meet-up time?

See you on Saturday.

Todd

Todd, the Hatchery is fine. Glad to have you! Assuming we leave on time (always a gamble), anytime between 9:20 and 9:40.

Sorry to hear that. It's a pretty easy route, there's still time to change your mind

Does that mean Bossman is out since he was going to ride up with you?

Dude, it's only Tuesday. You've got days to recover, and you will!
Plus, I'm going, and I'm a tired old man who did Davis.

Come on!

We're starting at Hagan Park in Rancho (at about mile mark 15.5), rolling out at 9am. See directions in the original post.

We'll take the ARBT to Iron Point where the MapMyQuest map starts.
When we hit the end of that map at Bealls Point, we'll take the ARBT back to Hagan Park where we started.

I guess the confusion is my own fault. It's what I get for being too lazy to completely fill in the route on the map.

Sorry but I'm out. No miles in. Work has been crazy. I'm hoping that things slow down to a sustainable level so I can actually get some miles in this summer.

Doh! That's probably going to mean I'm out as well. Well, looks like I'll be doing the Tiburon ride with yourself and Mrs Oldstrong though

Pretty much.

Probably for the best - I've been working like a dog and not getting too many miles in. I'm slow to begin with, and with my relative lack of conditioning would have zero chance of keeping up with the group. I hate having people wait on me.

So, it's me, Tricia and Joel...

I still think LanceOldStrong needs to be harassed into coming.

Drag yourself over here to Antioch and I'll drive you up.

Curtis, I found an address for your GPS! Park just past the high school on the right, prior to entering the park. Here is the address for the HS.

Isn't that why we're riding 100 miles?

Dude, we haven't ridden more than 50 miles since my crash. I've been relegated to insufficient trainer time and weekend warriorism on the tandem. Haven't climbed a hill since 3/14. Show up and we'll pull you -- we'll equal your slowness, and with my lack of hills, you'll scamper up them faster than we will. Show up and show us how it's done.

Bigbossman's bag of excuses, squelched again...

You need a recovery ride, don't you?

You can always grab our wheel. We aren't going anywhere fast.
