Parking in Tracy?

I may be meeting with a friend of mine from the South Bay to do some of the hills between Tracy and Livermore: https://www.mapmyride.com/ride/united...racy/203822533

Does anyone have a recommendation on a place to park in Tracy? Safe and with bathrooms and hopefully water fountain? I was thinking of Cecilia Park, but I don't know anything about it, never been there.

Also, is there any place on the eastern tip of Livermore that would be good for a quick water stop before heading back to Tracy? The loop is only 23 miles, so two waters may be enough.

Thanks!

There is a Park-n-Ride right off of 580 at the Grant Line Rd exit. Turn left at the exit, go under the freeway and you're there.

I've started from the P-n-R many times and it's a lot safer for your vehicle too, at least I think it is.

As for your H2O question, if you continue on Patterson Pass Rd just after "DOT 7" on MapMyRide to Greenville, then go north, you should find a gas station w/ services.

Enjoy your day,

BR

If you follow BenRidin's route to Greenville, there's a gas station on the left side of Greenville just before you go back under I-580. There will be a traffic light with a left turn signal at the intersection. Restrooms and Subway, plus the convenience store stuff.
Get back on Greenville going north, and take a right where it ends at Altamont Pass Rd. Follow that to the right and you're back on your route.
