Need Seattle-area people to ride with.

I need some riding partners, both for after work rides, and for occasional scenic weekend rides outside of town. I’m not too particular about pace.

I’ve been dealing with a lot of anxiety lately. Cycling helps a lot. Being around other people helps. All of my cyclist friends have moved away. If I can find people to ride with, it will help me profoundly.

Too bad you're not in central Washington. Working to get back in shape now that I'm done coaching softball for the year.

You probably can't ride slow enough to match my pace, but if you're ever on Whidbey Island I'd be glad to have a riding partner. I battle anxiety too.

I could see making a weekend trip to Ellensburg or Whidbey for a ride. @scozim do you ski in the winters?

Alas, after 3 knee surgeries and complete ineptitude on skis, I do not.

Several good rides in the area over here with the Yakima River Canyon being the most scenic.

What part of Seattle are you in? I'm in Fremont, And it's always nice to find people to ride with for after work rides. I suffer from anxiety as well, mainly social due to having a stutter. But cycling and being around people that share my passions really helps me out with that. If you're interested, message me.

Hi Forrest,

I've been thinking about going to Ellensburg next month and doing the Lion's Rock climb one day and the Manastasch metric century route the next. Probably want to ride day two on a Monday as weekend traffic over Snoqualmie Pass was a nightmare last month b/c of construction. PM me if this is of interest.
