Greetings everyone...I am coming to Seattle on Tuesday, July 8th, to visit some friends before heading up north to LaConner to visit my family. I won't have a car while in the city, but was thinking the best way to get around would be by bicycle anyways. I live in Crested Butte, CO, where it is by far our preferred method of travel! I've been looking into rentals but they sure are pricey; wondered if anyone had a suggestion or perhaps an extra bike that they might be willing to rent or lend me for a couple days? I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask! Thanks so much...

Not sure if this is too late, but I'll be in Seattle for the next two weeks. Every Summer, we come and I rent a bike from Recycled Cycles on Boat Street, just across from Washington Univ.

Totally reasonable prices and an awesome shop. I'll be meeting another member of bikeforums there on Sunday, July 20th for a ride around the lake.
