If you idiots are actually going to be there, I may have to show up and crush you with my mighty Pcad guads. That would be flipping Freds. I can race free, it's my club.

Who's in charge of the NCAAF? Someone should tell Alabama and Ohio State to mellow out. No need to rack up that many points! If you've got the game well in hand, then don't risk injury with needless offense. That's what I think anyway.

Heck, let the other team score a few points and rest your defense as well.

I was told the other team was paid to take a beating. Not that they throw the game, but that's how the out of conference games work... or something like that. I don't understand it, but heard yesterday that the losing team got a crapload of cash out of it. Wait, that still sounds hinkey... I can't explain it right.

Anyone here do MTB stuff?
Is there a practical reason for a long stem and wide bars? Or can I shorten up both if I'm not planning on spending any time in the woods on single track? Can anyone point me to a good source for MTB fit? When I bought it, the shop just did a crotch test, and I didn't know any better.

As far as the bars go, they can be cut shorter. If the bar is curved, changing to a straight bar would be the way to go. Stems can be changed at will. They are wide for better steering control. For a general idea of fit, take a look at Competitive Cyclist

Damn. Last night was rough. Jacked up my knee jumping over a bush. I really hope I can still ride without it hurting. While walking to the cross race today it hurt like hell.
mz is a hell of a lot better than me at this sport and he's 2 years younger. Kid gets mad props.
