I'm in friggin Greece and I can't get away from this place. I'd say that BF is stalking me, but I'm stalking myself. Which underscores the futility of geographical cures: where ever you go, there you are.

The clear implication here is that my fan base are bigger idiots than other BF members'.

Who can argue with this?

I noticed that all of the quotes didn't link back to the originals after all those posts were deleted. And I was getting a page error often when I tried to come here. It's a place to come, glad it's running smooth again. We can have Velo do the math to tell us where we really are.

well think of this is as a new challenge to surpass the page count in the old one. You and your minions have your work cut out for you, enjoy.

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed, myself. It kills the epic-ness of the thread.

You can help us revive, relive, and rejoice.

I just made that up. I think I'm onto something here.

haven't there been other threads a lot longer than the original Addiction? or was it the weight of so many inane posts that was killing the server.

^As said... the hundreds of posts that were deleted caused it. There were 7 "pages" that we could not see.

Isn't there a way for some whiz kids to move the non-offending content to this thread?

Hey Pcad,

In case you missed it I rode 78 miles yesterday consuming nothing along the way other than water.

If you think you're the only one getting skinnier, think again.

That would involve actually reading through Vol. I.
I would require at least a six digit salary for that.

I'm planning an afternoon on the floating condo sailing the bay with my wife, the dog, some beer and a bunch of junk food.

I could say it's a recovery day, but really it's just my lack of will power holding me back from crushing all of your souls.

Yeah, I'm sure there's something about that in the Geneva Conventions.

We shouldn't worry about the post count. How many threads on BF have chapters? This should be your first hint that this is going into print.

Edit: Wtf? over?

Todays ride wil be my last for a couiple of weeks as I have to go back to Las Vegas tomorrow for work. I am having a hard time deciding which bike I should ride, not to mention which route I should ride. Stuipid job.
I am having some problems with the Orbea' sounding like the rear mech. is out of adjustment when in the big ring, its annoying but it still works. I am also popping spokes on the rear wheel I just built for it.
Then again I have a century coming up at the end of the month I was thinking I would ride the Orbea' but now with these unresolved mechanical issues it looks like I will have to resort to the Madone. Tough luck huh?
The Madone is working well now, Someone on here told me to have the bottom bracket chased and faced when I was complaining about a clicking noise that was intermitant. Abig thank you to that person. I didnt get it done but I did wrap the cups in tephlon tape and that cured it. I will get it chased and faced durring the off season.
I have also been concidering moving the 10 speed Ultegra groupo from the lightspeed to the orbea, which is 105 9 speed. I havent put 200 miles on that bike this year. but she makes me feel so guilty when I look at her....(sigh) I just can't do it.

I think the first chapter should be printed on TP. One post per piece.

We did the same thing with the training status thread. It had gotten too big and was loading slowly, so we started a new one and closed the old one.
