Just a new years festival. There was only 1 firework this year though, which was odd.

I stole someone's coffee at starbucks. After everyone behind me in line got their coffees (it was swamped) I got PO'd and took a cinnamon latte after it wasn't claimed immediately. It tasted like cinnamon ass.

Australia celebrates New Year's Eve before us. The International Date Line marks where 2011 started first.

Nothing has screwed up so far, so that must be good. Right?

I think his resolution should be to only post once a month on bf for all of 2011.

At least our QB didn't cry. Although most of the fans probably were..losing to UCF and all.

It warmed up to 67 yesterday and was perfect riding weather. Today it's 60 but a dark, dreary, and rainy day.

It's ridiculous. I finally acquired a nice heavy winter jacket for Christmas, and the temperature immediately starts jumping into the 60s. wtf

Bikes: Have two wheels

Two days of temps above 40F have melted almost all of our snow.

Winter is scheduled to return sometime tomorrow.

Yep, it's heading your way. It was in the 50s yesterday, drizzly and foggy. All our snow is gone.

It's 16 degrees right now, but the sun is out.

Oh, and it's arsing windy out. Repair shingles appear to be holding, and the ceiling has been dry after two days of rain/damp.

Thanks. It felt weird going to lunch on New Year's Day and not wearing a parka.

First ride of 2011 is in the books. We went really easy for the first 17 miles or so (including a slow / stop for an early puncture), it got stupider later. 47 bikes including a guest appearance by MZ.

The good news is I had a good ride and was 3rd in the group sprint, the bad news is I think I have used all the points on my shameless, no pulling, wheel sucker card.

It's been wet all day. Oh dear, I bet some of our light-weight cyclists (not to be confused with non-fat cyclists) are already ahead of me for 2011.
