That doesn't look nearly as fun as my 5:00-6:00 pm 30-something degree riding this week with all the commuting idiots buzzing by.

I kid.

I thought Grand Prix (with James Garner) was a better movie, although Le Mans is probably more accurate.

Just got back from today's club ride.

There were only 4 of us.

Temps were in the 'teens....about 14 at start time and about 19 by the end.

We only did 35 miles but it was a blast!

I don't recall ever going more than about 25 miles when the temperature was <30F.

Mmmmm I picked up taco bell on the way home. The 7 layer burrito is a thing of beauty.

I also came home to a nice surprise, my new dura-ace 12-23 freewheel from Nashbar has arrived. I have to wait for my fancy latex tubes, though...they are on back order.

i've been listening last few days to rjones's classical music radio station which is really very good. the only problem is that right now a bunch of self loving people can't seem to get enough of themselves talking. stfu!

edit: oops. it was a live performance and it was the interval. what a chump.

This will sound silly, but if you put it on the George Foreman grill for a minute or two... bliss.

i had a george foreman grill. i dropped it and it broke.

i used to use the george foreman to do a steak and make a steak sandwich with the Paul Newman salad dressing. It was a celebrity meal that made the taste buds sing.
