Bikes: everywhere

I wouldn't touch used carbon with a 10' pole.

I'm even sketch about used Al bars and swap those out ASAP after buying a used bike I decide to keep.

It would be worth looking at, and maybe talking the price down. If it looks like it was wrecked I wouldn't buy it

No idea. There's a couple different pictures in different positions, so either they had an absurd amount of time on their hands or they used photoshop

I'm betting on photoshop, since I doubt the real things would stay standing.

Well, it's confirmed. For the third year I'll be doing a ~600 mile, six day sailing race from Key Largo to Tybee Island on a 20 foot, 2 person crew, catamaran. Last year the handle that hooks to my harness broke and I was separated from the boat in rough seas, forcing me to active my EPIRB (electronic position-indicating radio beacon) and spend 30 minutes floating around in the gulf stream wondering if I was going to be eaten by a shark at any minute. Activating the EPIRB caused the Air Force to call our ground crew and send out a dingy to pick me up and take me back to my boat--which I could see, but my crew could not see me.

Not much relevance to cycling, just excited

That's even dumber than cycling.

When I fell, there was no one driving the boat. By the time the other person on board realized what had happened and got the boat under control he had already sailed a couple hundred yards away. In big swells, it was impossible for him to find me again. He was looking, but he was way off where he was searching

I caught part of Jaws 2 the other night. The kids were riding in boats kind of like those and the shark came and gobbled a couple of them up.

that is responsible for a whole generation developing lack of bathing regularity.
