BTW I was afraid I would have to skip my usual wednesday ride today due to work, but I came in early and rounded early, then snuck away for 3 hours of cycling bliss. It was a good ride, although two guys who had not been riding lately had a hard time keeping up and were ultimately dropped.

Our cat, Gianni, went through a clepto period. He collected more than two dozen random socks (usually children sizes) and a childs-size pair of lycra shorts complete with Longhorn emblem. That was about 3 years ago. Then he stopped (or neighbors got wise to him sneakin' into their houses). A sock showed up on the front walkway about a month ago, so maybe he just wanted to let us know he hadn't outgrown it completely. I would give him filet mignon for dinner if he managed to drag a Giro Atmos or a Bell Sweep home!

And yes, I do take offense to that. I am out there working my ass off all day to make a dollar it is bad enough that people are idiots on the road.
One of our wavers was shot 16 times with a paintball gun last year, DOES THAT HIT THE NEWS? no. Its because people think we are weird for working out there. NEWS FLASH: we are just like you. doing anything we can for a dollar.
