Bikes: everywhere

A great movie coasting should avoid. Gore fans should check it out immediately:

Video takes a few seconds to start up.

I generally don't like horror movies. The Tim Burton production of Sleepy Hollow isn't too scary, although heads do roll.

You should get a track bike and start racing there.

That trailer is a little confusing, but I'd probably watch that.

It's thrilling I guess? I never took the time to ask why I enjoyed them but gore movies like Saw and Hostel I don't really dig.

I finally got out this weekend earlier today for a good ride. I went out with one friend (he is actually a limey so coasting may approve), and we did a 54 mile circuit that included a few nasty climbs. Weather was good, temps in upper 40's and sunny, mild winds.

Anything noteworthy going on in here?

Then, on the wet, I went around a corner and was literally blown over . Minimal road rash, but when I got back on the bike there was a big problem. My front derailleur did not look right, and the chain was stuck between the rings . Mind you it was still raining. I got out my multitool and fixed it enough to stay in the little ring. I spun the rest of the way home.

25miles, 90 min ride time--2hrs out in the mess.
Wow. Glad you are ok. I hope the bike's injuries are easily fixed too.

We went to see Drag Me To Hell. The main reason we went was because our nieces husband had a screen credit (visual effects).

Nice! Saw that one at the theater also. Another good Justin Long thriller that came out about the same time is After.Life, which features quite a bit of Christina Ricci nude.

Finally synched my Outlook calendar to my phone (Droid o/s). I am bad about putting off tech stuff that I think is going to be complicated. This was easy. Phew.

Hadn't been watching HR since I had to keep the Garmin in my waist pack. It didn't feel as all over the place as it appears on the Garmin file.

I think getting a Forerunner for running may be in order.

It's the one season missing you actually want, too.

Miami = too hot/humid + hurricanes.
SD = air temp is just right, but the ocean's a little chilly.
