I have the most southern resume here, and even I would have a hard time passing myself off as one.

I've grown up in Georgia from age 5-present. That's a pretty healthy southern resume.

I thought it was more recent. I've got you on years, but Georgia is more southern than East Tennessee, so we'll call it a draw.

Eastern Tennessee is probably closer to West Virginia than anything else if you ask me. Though I've only visited the tri-city area a few times, so I can't say that for certain.

Correct, East Tennessee is a border region. It was pro-Union in the Civil War. You don't really get a "southern" feel until you get down to Chattanooga.
