Hey, everything we do during this hour we get to basically redo. So if I say the Sun rotates around the Earth it won't count when I say it again at the next 1:30am. Kind of like time travelling.

That's pretty awesome!
I ran for the first time in years this morning. Not far maybe a mile or two, but my puppy was well being a puppy, so I went on a run with him to wear him down. It worked.

Ouch.
So this weekend I didn't eat for 30 hours (I am a youth leader for my church and it is a worldvision fundrasier) we had a meal to end the event at 7 or 8 last night then went out for a beer. Then I lose an hour of sleep after only sleeping from 230am-8am the night before (on a floor) and get to go race (waking up at 530). Twice. The 4/5 race was going pretty well, even though the wind was brutal the longest streach and a cross wind on the second longest) I was top 10-14 going into the last corner with a team mate in front of me with less than a mile to go. The someone to my left blew 2 spokes and went wide and I was in the grass/sand (embarressingly my second time this occured in the race) I lost a lot of positions and was spent just getting back up to speed. So pack finish.

The 3/4 was thankfully just 3/4 this week, I was dead but was riding for fitness. Last week I just did 2 min or so, this week I wanted to finish. I did barely about 30 sec of the back of the pack. At the end I just lost it in the wind and pedaled softly accross the line by myself. Quite a few dropped out so I didn't feel too bad. The wind also somehow got worse (maybe just the smaller field) luckily a break went and the two teams just softly pedaled most of the race. So it was easyish, which fit my exercise goals, but not my wanting to do well goals. I gave a half lap bridge/pull attempt but it amounted to nothing with all the other teams just sitting on. The 1/2/3 break almost passed us (a 3 man group that included the local "fast guy", but must have faded at the end because I didn't even see them when I was back.

Next week I may just stick with the one race.

An acquaintance of mine just got her waxing website up. One item on the men's menu caught my eye :
Brozilian $100
I'm still chuckling....might have to get one once speedo season rolls around.
