Ok, so thanks to the pesky sniffer hole, that does indeed mean that the lever will accept fluid ingress when in the relaxed state, this means that either a T piece with valves is required, or, that a...

These days, the mantra seems to be "The wider the tyre, the lower the rolling resistance", but I have my doubts. Are tourers rapidly migrating to fat bikes?

I appreciate my 50mm tyres for all...

Yes, there is always the crazy option.

The P1.18 + RK3, is basically the Pinion drive (30T:30T), but with a secondary lever giving you granny or overdrive.

Perfect Touring Drivetrain? Pinion + Sturmey Archer (P1.18 + CS-RK3)

My previous touring drivetrain was a 3x8 derailleur with 52/42/20 chainring + 11-36 cassette. Combined with wide, dropped handlebars, secondary brake levers on top, with fingertip trigger shifters,...

Maybe the problem is that because there's now so much choice, it's no longer profitable to attempt to sell such a thing as a standard tourer - because one bike can't be all things to all men -...

Do you wave at eBike riders?

I assume that most cyclists do say hello, wave, or nod to other passing cyclists, but not to motorcycle or moped riders.

Are they in the...
