I'm not claiming he didn't, or he couldn't of. But the timing is pretty consistent with a non EPO enhanced Lemond not being able to keep up with a new generation of EPO users.

From ESPN:
"Landis, who began his career as a top mountain biker, had kept detailed training journals since he was a teenager. He said he continued the same methodical record-keeping once he started using banned drugs and techniques. Landis said he spent as much as $90,000 a year on performance-enhancing drugs and on consultants to help him build a training regime. Landis said he has kept all of his journals and diaries and has offered to share them with U.S. anti-doping authorities in recent meetings. He added that he has given officials detailed information on how athletes are beating drug testing."

So the 'roids gave him cancer and then he went back on the 'roids to win bike races? If that's true, that is just so sick.

Lemond first won the Tour de France in 1986. It's possible he was using it 89-90. He pretty much falls off a cliff in 1991, and that's just about the time that EPO starts showing up in the Peleton.
I'm not claiming he didn't, or he couldn't of. But the timing is pretty consistent with a non EPO enhanced Lemond not being able to keep up with a new generation of EPO users.

Probably the mod with the cigar smoking dog avatar.... he loves to do merge threads which are almost completely unrelated, it kills threads almost instantly. Less work for him I guess.

Let's see . . . do I believe a guy who intentionally defrauded any number of people out of "defense fund" donations?
This is one EXPENSIVE admission for him. Before this is over, no matter the book deal, some lawyer is going to make him bankrupt and, perhaps, some prosecutor will have him in prison for fraud.
Either he's very, very stupid . . . or he's telling the truth now . . . or both.

So Flodis comes to road cycling and was lessoned how to do enhancements to become and remain competitive at the highest level. He gets caught and writes a book and collected money for his defense all the time stating his innocence. Now he writes emails and breaks the pro “locker room” code tossing everyone under the bus. He is pond scum…but nevertheless in my mind...accurate:
Frankly, I believe Flodis. Simply, it would be hypocritical for me to think otherwise full well knowing at that this pro level of sport [as well as others] it’s all big money, big expectations, big competition, and most importantly, entertainment on a grand scale. And I never believed for a moment in grand tours where you’ve got two weeks of racing a ‘recovery’ of massage, team food and good sleep overnight allows a rider to magically hammer those climbs the next day. Yeah, right...the science of good clean living I think it’s the juice cause it just isn’t human that stuff they do over two weeks. And that’s why many watch it. And that’s why many sponsor it and why tour officials look the other way while passing a few bodies for the slaughter now and then. No different than why baseball commissioner Bud Selig plays stupid about the drugs in his sport. It’s all entertainment and anything less than the performances many see and find mind blowing would be disappointing and unintere$ting.

Sure, Landis has shown himself to be a scumbag. However if you think that the entire peloton isn't jacked, then you probably still believe in the tooth fairy.

I like riding. I like racing. I've kind of given up on rooting for pros though. I honestly don't care what Landis is saying. I think everyone in the pro tour is trying their damnedest to get away with whatever they can whether it be a border line or egregious violation of the anti doping rules. In that sense they are all equally juiced IMO and therefore on a somewhat level playing field. I don't like it, but it is what it is.

It doesn't really matter anyways does it? This is no different than an OJ case. Whether it is true or not, people are going to choose their sides and defend or attack landis or lance without knowing anything. When the evidence is revealed, it will not change the outcome of peoples thoughts of Landis or Armstrong.
So they are saying that while Lance was getting Chemotherapy he was also doing all this crazy stuff with his blood, and his team was all for it? I think if this were the case, there are bigger issues at stake here. Or is this all supposed to be Post cancer?

He cheated, is now finally admitting it and named the other cheats. Good for the sport, F**k your code.
